Calbuco 2019

 

I usually travel to the south on summer vacations, and I went last year, my whole family on my mother's side is there (Calbuco), it's wonderful to be able to see them all again after so much time, they always make a lot of food to welcome us and the family atmosphere is honestly one of the things I like the most about going there. Whatever, several years have passed and since most of my cousins ​​are around my age I get along very well with them, and of course, this time not was different. We go out together to many places, we went a lot to the beach, some parties, we rented kayaks and we got to an island called Helvecia, a place that has thousand-year-old trees, that as they fell over the years, the local people have transformed into beautiful giant wooden sculptures, getting there was exhausting, but it was absolutely worth it.

But, if there is something that I remember with more affection, it was arriving at my grandparent´s house, a meeting point for the whole family, it´s a special place, I couldn't put it into words, but the feeling of peace and affection is like a dream, when we are not having discussions, but they are details.
